In the last several years , Deathstroke ’s star rose to be one of the most prominent characters in the DC Universe . Not only was he the wizard of multiple on-going serial in a post - Rebirth DCU , but he also had roles in big effect likeDark Nights : Metal . How is Amanda Waller Going to Use Deathstroke?
While there ’s no guarantee that this new army has anything to do with Deathstroke beyond a few similarity , one must remember one significant thing . After Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths , Slade was imprisoned under the Hall of Justice . While that was ok when it was still under League control , Waller claimed that property as her own when she became the caput of the Bureau of Sovereignty . Now it ’s the Hall of Order andeverything that was antecedently the Justice League ’s is in Waller ’s hands .
Waller could be using Deathstroke ’s torso to make a pack of knockoff .
Even without powers , Deathstroke is incredibly hard to down and it ’s unlikely whoever pulled his plug put him down for good . There ’s a good hazard that he was still clinging to life underneath the Hall . Amanda Waller ’s never been one to waste an plus and if she constitute Slade , even if he was incredibly damage , there ’s little doubt she ’d put him straight to mold . And with the secret Lazarus Pit that Waller used to revive Emilia Harcourt , Deathstroke could be theoretically contribute back to normal .
Of course , that does n’t explain the multiple raw member of her Task Force , all of whom fall apart Deathstroke ’s colors and partake in his kinship for gun . Perhaps Waller is n’t reviving Deathstroke since he is a risky plus and one who does n’t take decree easy . Instead , Waller could be using Deathstroke ’s body to create a plurality of clones . Even without powers , Slade Wilson is a prime specimen and a great example for Waller to build an army with . They might not be as full as the original , but a Deathstroke U. S. Army could do precisely what Waller need them to .

While Waller has an army of Amazos to help impose her rule , she ca n’t bet on them being her only option .
