Joffrey is essentially a spoiled holy terror who inherit power he does n’t deserve or understand how to wield , and it is this power that sacrifice him the ability to inflict pain on others . There is n’t really an empathetic bone in Joffrey ’s dead body , and on multiple occasions it ’s march that it brings him joyousness to hurt , torment , and torture others , including in hismurder of Ros inGame of Thronesseason 3 .
Ramsay is the same in many ways , but he ’s arguably worse because of how much timeGame of Thronesdevotes to showing him actually torturing people and gaining pleasure from it . Plus , Ramsay does n’t need to be king to hurt others . While Ramsay is a bastard and is evidence to want the love and deference of his father , his military action set off out any illusion of empathy consultation might have for him . In addition to torturing Theon Greyjoy ( Alfie Allen ) by physically harming him , Ramsay also ensures that Theon is tortured psychologically , even setting up elaborate game to toy with him .
