Obi-Wan’s Survival Would Have Changed Star Wars Completely
If Obi - Wan had n’t died inA New Hope , the intact original trilogy would have been whole unrecognizable . Luke would have had a master to by rights train him from the start , so even though he was one ofthe strongest Jedi ever , he might have become even more powerful . If that had been the example , Luke would n’t have need to go to Dagobah for his Jedi training , and Yoda might not have even been create . There would also probably have been a replay between Obi - Wan and Vader at some point , which could have altogether redefine how their kinship ended .
Though Obi - Wan Kenobi is one of the most beloved characters inStar Wars , and see him survive pastA New Hopewould have been nice , it was for the dear that he died . His death was a perfect law of continuation of his tragical story , and it define up Luke ’s triumph in destroying the Death Star and his trial inThe Empire Strikes Back . It also make an opportunity for Yoda to become one of the most iconic characters in science fabrication . A New Hopewas nearly completely unlike , but it ’s difficult to opine a manner the terminal version could have been better .
