From early on inShōgun , it ’s been established thatYabushige is obsessed with expiry . In instalment 1 , he boils a human beings alive so as to hear sounds that could give him some insight into what it is like to pass on . Yabushige also very nearly drowns in the show ’s first step episodes , and he very rapidly takes out his steel , quick to stop his own life . He ’s ultimately pull through , however , when Blackthorne leaps into activity .
While Yabushige has remained live thus far , his interest in decease is certainly setting up the character ’s fate in the remaining two episodes . Itseems very likely that Yabushige will finally end up have death for himself , though the accurate manner in which this will occur stay a secret . With Toranaga having amply committed himself to the Crimson Sky plan and the derangement of Osaka , Shōgun ’s final two episodes are poised to be particularly violent .
