We had to know what we were established from episode one from the go , so by the time we nonplus to episode 5 , it was working in a playground that we were , I do n’t want to say overly conversant with or comfortable with , because there ’s always growing stages . Jake Castorena : Oh , absolutely . The decision was never finite , like , ' We ’re doing this , we ’re belt down so and so and that ’s it . ' This might daunt fan , but it change a number , it bounced around on who it would be because for interest of news report , for sake of pushing character arcs and tying everything in , based on where story trajectory was pass , [ it ] was based on what character it was going to be .
But at long last , obviously , we land on Gambit and , Magneto . We love someone , a.k.a . Rogue , who is , especially in our show , who was very much lace with both . Is Captain America Coming To X-Men ‘97?

One of the biggest tonic things that we are stick in into the series into our characters is the real consequences . While there were consequences [ where ] people got hurt and suffer at the end of the day , nobody died in the original show . Morph die and come back . Wolverine got wounded really bad [ and ] was out for half an episode , you fuck . Nobody choke there , those kinds of consequences were n’t there . We ’re wrench that on its heading on this show . guide into the outcome as what are the consequences of Genosha , not just for our characters but worldwide ? What are the consequences in this Earth where we ’ve just feel the mutant slaughter , a mutant racial extermination , the mutant 9/11 equivalent ?
The routine of something so lurid , something , that really can both work people together and its core or fraction them like they ’ve never been before . That ’s what I would say is for fans to look forward to cameos or what characters may or may not come in . This may or may not become a global issue now , and who is responsible for what and how do you deal ? What ’s levelheaded ? What ’s not ? Who do you turn to ? What are the telephone circuit crossed when it comes to mutant freedom , liberation , and multitude having the right wing to exist ? Lots of likely ramifications and a heap of weightiness , a lot of emotional , and just political . Physical weight , just a lot of weight that will take place and come from there . I will say , I look forward to the fans generate to watch and discover what these issue are .
The X-Men’s Coming-Of-Age Story
Would you say that the massacre is fundamentally the end of innocence for the X - Men , and is this really the true coming - of - age story for them ?
Jake Castorena : I would say yes , because that was the destination , in the commission statement from the hand , those vision from from day one , it was there . Jake Castorena : Yes … [ laughs ] regrettably , I will go forth it there because you ask to get through time of year one first . Jake Castorena : I waffle to say game changer in a agency because we are on the shoulders of the OG show . If you change too much , it is no longer that ten - Men show . But to follow suit and surveil through with storyline and event and account points that we have established so far , to that I will say I appreciate working on this and the level we were separate because it also challenge my POVs as well . As a someone , I was like , ' Oh , that ’s very interesting . ' What bechance when the villain potentially makes a right point ? What happens if a humans like Sinister is validated in some path ?
